Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about NexoFiber

What is NexoFiber?

NexoFiber is a complete operational platform (OSS) designed for internet service providers (ISPs) operating GPON and FTTH fiber optic networks. It centralizes OLT equipment management, outside plant topology, customer data, and billing in a single modern and secure tool.

Which OLT vendors are supported?

NexoFiber has native support for Huawei, ZTE, Fiberhome, Nokia, and Calix. Its modular driver architecture makes it possible to add support for new vendors without modifying the rest of the system.

Is NexoFiber SaaS or on-premise?

Both options are available. In SaaS mode, the system runs in the cloud with high availability and no infrastructure maintenance required. In on-premise mode, it is installed on your own servers, ideal for ISPs with privacy or regulatory compliance requirements.

How does NexoFiber connect to my OLT equipment?

NexoFiber connects to OLT equipment via SSH and SNMP directly from the server. There is no need to install agents on the devices. You only need to configure the access credentials, and the system starts collecting data within minutes.

Does NexoFiber include billing?

Yes. The Finance module allows you to issue invoices, generate receipts, and produce financial reports. It integrates natively with customer and ONU data and supports local fiscal compliance requirements.

How many users can access the system?

The number of users depends on the plan. Pro and Enterprise plans include unlimited users with role-based access control and granular permissions per module.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, we offer a 14-day free trial with no commitment and no credit card required. Request a demo and we will activate your access within minutes.

Is my data secure?

Security is a top priority. SSH credentials for OLT equipment are stored encrypted with AES. System access is protected by secure authentication, and all technician actions are logged in a complete audit trail.

What kind of support do you offer?

The Starter plan includes email support with business-day response times. Pro and Enterprise plans have priority support and direct access to the technical team. The Enterprise plan includes a guaranteed SLA.

How long does implementation take?

In SaaS mode, implementation takes hours. Register your account, configure your OLT credentials, and the system starts monitoring your network immediately. For on-premise deployments, the typical timeframe is 1 to 3 business days.
